Just use available tools to educate people using simple terms. Using 6-degree rule we should be able to reach lots of people.

Poor Coverage in Media Regarding a Very Important Issue where governmental agencies (USCIS/DOS) took unprecedented/unlawful route and resulted in millions of dollars wasted and dreams shattered of hard working, lawfully present Highly Skilled Immigrants.

Yes, Iam in the same boat too.
My I485 has been moved from NSC-CSC-NSC. No updates nothing at all.
I had to call and let them know that i had done my Biomterics in Dec 2007.

Waiting for 180 days is hard....but its even harder for folks like me, who are waiting for 140 approval..The way things are, looks like it sgonna take much longer than 180 days for 140 approval...Only then I can even think of using AC21....But no complaints...Patience pays...:)

3. Checks for Filing fees. YES

6. Copy of I-94 both sides. YES
7. Copies of F-1 visa, I-20, OPT EAD and H1B visas. YES
8. Copies of W2s and tax returns for the years 2004, 2005 and 2006. YES
9. Medical examination Report. YES
11. Letter of Employment. YES
12. Copy of EAD and EAD application receipt. YES
13. Bank statement. YES

Call me superstitious but just wanted to kick off this thread again in the hope that this miracle will repeat this year. I have a gut feeling 2011 will bring that magic moments again.
Probably, your wish is granted (even if it is just for few hours while they correct the error :p). Why I say this? Look at visa bulletin on Mumbai Consulate's website, here's the link:

The follow up on this incident requires continuous force and Hindu community should see that such blasphemy will not repeat again. And also ensure that those beer bottles are not in market with Lord Ganesh or any other divine picture of Hindu religion. Some suggested to make this news reach Sivasena, RSS and VHP as well. Hello,
I am currently working as full time and planning to move to consulting. I have the below questions
(i) I know its a bit risky to move to consulting right now compared to Fulltime, but still i See the H1 petetions for most of consutling companies are getting approved.
Do you think is it OK to move to consulting from Full time?
(ii)As client letter is mandatory these dayz, whats the best approach to apply for transfer? Like e finding the project and proceed for premium processing

Here is what I would suggest. Continue with your full time job and on the side start looking for a job and make sure that you get hold of good consulting company(ies). If they find you a position, they will/may file for the H1B Xfer. Once the H1b exfer is complete, you can go an join them.
This is all easy said than done. You will have to find a position where the client is willing to wait for your H1B approval and etc. Since you are already on an H1B all you need is a receipt number for the new H1B, but it is getting tricky with denials these days. You dont want to leave your existing full time job and join the consulting company only to realise that the H1B xfer did not go through.

As per my attorney, even if you enter the country on AP, your status can still remain H1, if you are using it to work (instead of EAD).

Is AILA doing anything about it? Do they need IV member support? How do we make it clear to the USCIS and Govt that targetting H1b and the free will of the employer to hire H1b is PURE SOCIALISM and anti-capitalism. It is a sure way of destroying the capitalistic engine that is keeping the US ahead. Is US becoming a restrictive economy like China? Several people i know got RFE during H1 transfer and few got denied . At the same time many got approved.
Mines also got denied even though i a have a project and with big company.
But if you are over 180 days you can take a chance. It is better that getting less salary. You can transfer on premium and switch company after it gets approved.
On the side note: dont transfer your h1 to a company starting with cognXXXXX and ending with "solutions". their immigration department sucks and several of their transfers are having issue.
